The Area is committed to supporting as many young people as possible to attend the 26th World Scout Jamboree. Applications to attend will open in September, and the process will be managed by ScoutsCymru on behalf of the UK Contingent.
Cardiff and Vale Scouts are also committed to providing an international alternative to the World Scout Jamboree for Explorer Scouts who are not able to attend the Jamboree. This will take place in the summer of 2027.
We are looking for a team of adults who are interested in leading an international adventure. What this looks like will be down to the team to determine, working in partnership with our Youth Lead.
Whether you have experience of previous events, or not, we want to hear from you! No previous experience of working with Explorer Scouts is necessary.
