Assistant Area Commissioner International
Hello! I’m Sean, one of the AAC Internationals for the Area. Before being appointed to the Area Team, I have been involved in several international experiences: from being part of the UK Contingent Management Team for Roverway 2016 and the 24th World Scout Jamboree, to co-delivering an Explorer Belt Award expedition for 36 young people from Cardiff and the Vale in 2017.
I developed a passion for international experiences after attending the World Scout Jamboree as a young person; there’s no bug like international Scouting! Having developed so many skills for life through international experiences, I am keen to ensure as wide a participation as possible, as well as remembering that the global programme at home is a great offer for our young people, too.
